Are you feeling tired and unbalanced?
Are you experiencing some sense of vulnerability that keeps you drained physically, emotionally, and spiritually?
If yes then you are suffering most probably from a root Chakra blockage.
This chakra is believed to be a survival center. Thus the importance of stabilizing the foundation of the body to reach wholeness and completeness.
Chakras in the definition are the major focal points where energy flows up and down the entire body reflecting apart from physical health, our emotional and spiritual health as well.
According to ancient texts the philosophy of Chakras or wheels of energy in Sanskrit dates back to ancient India as early as 1500 BC, we have 7 primary chakras that stretch from the bottom of the spine to the top of the head.
The first Chakra of the 7 is the root Chakra or Muladhara chakra in Sanskrit which means the root of all things.
The root Chakra is the most instinctual of all chakras, it’s the center of Fight, Flight or Freeze response and it’s the Chakra of stability, security, and our basic needs.
A normal flow of energy within our root chakra is very important to feel grounded and connected to the energy of earth or the 3D dimension. When the root energy is stuck and congested we will be inclined to seek joy and happiness through financial possessions and the accumulation of material things.
On the other hand, if the root energy is weak or blocked we will feel a deep sense of insecurity, experiencing a lack of energy, anxiety, worry, panic, and as if we don’t fit in or belong to this dimension.
Therefore the importance is to balance the root Chakra first before we correct others or we will lack the stability for true transformation and growth.
Fortunately, there are many effective ways to heal your root chakra.
The exercise below is one of my favorite methods.
Sit comfortably and your spine should be 90 degrees with your lower body.
Put your right hand between the intimate part and anus (sit on your right hand), your left hand should be held up towards the sky as if you are praying.
Start breathing 4sc in 8sc out for 5mins, then repeat these affirmations:
I feel centered
I am home
I feel safe and secure
I have what I need
I am kind and compassionate to myself
I am infinite possibilities
I am fearless
I trust myself
I love myself
Enjoy the healing process!
